I am going to be staying in Carbondale for the summer and was wondering if anyone knew of any tournaments or if anyone was interested in getting some games together....

Work Day April 26

Just a reminder work day this Sunday April 26. Everyone who is part of the club and can make needs to go. This our part of the deal with Xtreme. I recommend t-shirt, pants, work gloves, and goggles. Here is the list of what we are doing:

Fixing bunkers on the pipes field
cleaning the back XBALL field
building more bunkers in the small wooded field
cleaning the airball field in front.

Don't expect time to play. Leave Old National at 9am.

Elections

Since there was some discussion about last years elections not being fair, this is how I'm going to handle them this year. Anyone who wants to run for an office needs to post on this thread or email me. On April 22 I will finalize the list of everyone who wishes to run. New Logo Proof

Alright fellas,

Here's the latest proof I have received from our designer at Attitude Designs. This is about as close as we can come to the previous ideas you had suggested. The splatter paw didn't have enough contrast and was hard to recognize. With the current proof, we should have no problems with logo recognition from any distance and we are 90% sure that it will be approved by the SIU Athletics department for use.

here is the price breakdown for class A at nationals

$2000 for entry so 200 per person
Hotel should be the same for people around 100 per person I think
paint: ISU won it last year and they played 5 matches and played roughly 15 points per match so 75 points total. we shot 6 cases for 12 games so figure 6-7ish per match so 30-35 cases of paint assume 40 a case. so 1200-1400. so 120-140 per person
Gas and all that should be about the same prolly around 40-60 bucks per...

Here are the logos from Attitude Designs. We can change anything we want on them. Post on here only your ideas or thoughts. Just remember we are getting charged $25/hour for the work. So lets make it worth the while. We can also have more than one logo.

On various travels help my family getting settle i have for a paintball store in O'Fallon by Scott AFB it's about 40 min from the field. the prices are not to bad considering you save shipping. It 10 min down the road from where my family lives so if anyone needs something or has something they are looking for let me know.

Hey Donny I cant figure out what (if anything) is wrong with my a-5 I just haven't had the means to test it really, seeing as dorms are pretty big on the whole no projectile policy. So during Spring break I may have to take you up on your offer to fix it. By the way do we have a meeting this week?

Fall '09 Semester

Hey guys,

Computer Science transfer student here, admitted to the Fall '09 Semester at SIU:C. I've been working 40/hrs a week while going to a junior college full-time and I'm sure as hell excited drop that down to just a full time student. That being said, I'll have a lot of free time in which I hope to start paintballing again. I'm very excited to see SIU has a team up and running. How often do you guys meet up/practice? Active in tournaments?

For those who are planning on playing ISU and/or Nationals I need to know ASAP. I have to have rosters and entry paid in early March. I will also need entry fee for both. If you are planning on playing in either I need your APPA number and entry fee. ISU will be $85 a person and Nationals will be $100 a person.
